Grant A Wish has operated a food program for 26 years. We exhibit joy & success in giving away food to those in need on Saturday mornings beginning at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. We provide produce, bread, milk, eggs, dry goods, meats, and other sanitary supplies like hand soap, detergent, and other products when available...

Ms. Anne Blair founded Grant A Wish, Inc., in 1981 in Chicago to help make a difference in the lives of the children she met who experienced personal poverty, with no adequate clothing, shoes, or coats, and needed additional supportive services like a new pair of eyeglasses and other requested supportive items. She would rally her legion of supporters, who would help her buy shoes, coats, and other essentials that were given to her to give to the children in the form of a wish.

Grant A Wish 2026 Baby Program Helps Families...
One of our important successful programs is our Grant A Wish Baby Program. We provide what is in our inventory at the time of an appointment, which can be a bassinet or crib, stroller, carseat, playpen, a changing table, high chairs, and a variety of other supplies like, diapers, wipes, shampoo, lotion & breast pump supplies. We have a large inventory of baby clothes, and other baby supplies. Many of the items in stock are gently used, but in very good condition, and everything is given away free of charge.
